When cleaning your litter box, start by emptying it into a bag. Rinse your tank and wash it with 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water. White vinegar is an excellent deodorant. After removing that cat urine smell, dry the tray, then line the bottom with 0.5 centimeters of baking soda. Then install the bedding gravel. You will no longer have the same smells.
When your cat, or a stray cat, has come to relieve itself in your home, it is important to remove the smell so as not to encourage it to do so again. To do this, carefully clean the soiled area with soapy water. If it's a carpet, use sparkling water to stir up the stain and remove it with paper towel. Then mix 1 volume of white vinegar, 1 volume of lemon juice, 1 volume of water and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Disinfect with a damp sponge with this mixture. If the odor persists, put 2 teaspoons of baking soda in 1 part water and spray on the urine odor. The smell will disappear.
If you want to rid your apartment of cat odors permanently, there is a simple and effective way. After cleaning the house, bring a pot of water to a boil and add 2 cups of baking soda and 5 drops of tea tree essential oil. Stir and set this pan in the center of your smelly room until the liquid cools. Baking soda will absorb odors and essential oil, clean the air in the room.
