Consumers have more questioned the state of their furniture, encouraged by the COVVI effect which forced us to stay locked up.
On the manufacturers' side, quality and naturalness are not.They essentially offer products with harmful effects for health and the environment: melamine wood which has a high concentration of formaldehyde (in the glue used to link all wood waste), the seat and 100 % polyester cushions, waterproof fabrics but treated with chemical compounds ... These products are mainly manufactured at the other end of the world, which requires the addition of fungicides to avoid mold during transport.
How does the composition of most sofas have harmful health effects?
Different American studies have revealed links between chemicals used for the foam of the seats of a sofa and health problems.The Green Science Policy Institute of Berkeley published, in cooperation with the Duke University, a study precisely analyzing the components of the foam of 101 sofas bought in the United States between 1984 and 2010.This analysis revealed that 85 % of them contained TDCPP - a chemical delayer of flame advisable.

Sustainability goes hand in hand with our choices of raw materials.First of all, the seat is designed in natural latex to be as comfortable as they are.The 12 cm of 100 % natural latex were associated with recycled pen for such a soft welcome that you will no longer want to get up!The natural latex, which we also use in our mattresses, is a particularly durable material.The kipli sofa will thus be very resistant, and will avoid any early sagging.
The linen used to cover the kipli sofa is a very solid and ecological fiber that comes from Lemaitre Demeestere, French weaver since 1835.The cover that covers the sofa is removable, which allows easy maintenance for dry washing.The structure of the kipli sofa is made of local beech wood.This has received no chemical treatment (nor solvents, insecticides or fungicides).

We offer the kipli sofa in 3 (206 cm) or 4 places (240 cm) depending on the need.It can then be adapted to the surface provided in your living room.In addition, we leave the choice of the type of small or large cushions for a different style depending on the tastes.
