Sofia Vergara lends her image to the new Stella McCartney campaign, dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.
The star of "Modern Family" poses in a set of lingerie from the "Rose Romance" collection for this campaign launched on Monday, the date of mother Linda McCartney.Stella's mother died of breast cancer in 1998.Since then, her daughter has been fighting to educate the public about this disease.Over the years, she has recruited many celebrities to encourage women to start regular follow -up.Last year, the designer called on the singer Alicia Keys.
"Women of the Latin American community, in particular, perform less screening for breast cancer and benefit from more limited access to care than other ethnic communities in the United States", explains an Instagram publication in which we seeVergara wear the new lingerie.
"This pink romance lingerie wants to be a nice way to remind women that we have to be followed," explains Vergara in a small video in the campaign.The actress also evokes the need to be proud to be a woman, to know and to love her body.
The profits generated by the sale of "Rose Romance", a delicate set of pink lingerie, will be donated to associations and charity organizations, such as the Linda McCartney Center of Liverpool, the Hello London Foundation and the Memorial Sloan Kettering BreastHarlem examination Center.
According to WWD, 'Rose Romance' will be available from October 1st.
