Billie Eilish imagines a vegan collection for Nike
A convinced vegan, singer Billie Eilish has already distinguished herself by imposing her convictions on the fashion world: last year, she had notably agreed to be dressed by Oscar de la Renta during the Met Gala, on the condition that the house undertakes to no longer use fur. This month, she reiterates, offering Nike her vision of eco-conscious style for the time of a capsule collection. For her second collaboration with the American label, she notably imagined a pair of Air Force 1 in nubuck made of 80% recycled materials as well as a selection of ready-to-wear pieces inspired by her personal style. “This collection represented both a challenge and an opportunity: to respect the original models while appropriating them to myself. It was also important for me to add some eco-friendly materials to the mix where we could in order to present them in a new light”, said the singer about this new collaboration which will be available for sale from April 24.

Tiffany and Co exhibits in London
Fashion never stops unveiling its heritage. A new medium in vogue for houses with a committed narrative, the exhibition has been in the spotlight in recent years. Latest claw to date to stage? Tiffany and Co, which will move to the Saatchi Gallery (London) from June 10 for a retrospective called “Vision & Virtuosity”. On the program: the return on 185 years of creation, with the exhibition of jewels and exceptional diamonds as well as a broader highlighting of the identity of the American brand both within its walls thanks to images of archive than in popular culture, with a special focus on the movie “Diamonds on the Couch”. APC takes a look at vintage
At a time when the second-hand market is exploding, brands are increasingly trying to recover their stocks in order to give them a new life in a well established. And if many of them are now taking back their used models, restoring them and reselling them online, this spring A.P.C. decided to go even further. From April 22, the label's Parisian boutique at 33 rue Notre Dame de Nazareth will indeed be reserved for the brand's vintage pieces. Taken back in all the stores of the brand in exchange for vouchers, the latter will be grouped together in this new second-hand temple. The idea? Giving another chance to sometimes forgotten clothes, which only stagnate in our closets.
The essentials in two seconds:While fashion is trying to solve its problem of overconsumption, more and more brands are investing in the second-hand field. From April 22, the store at 33 rue Notre Dame de Nazareth of A.P.C. will thus be exclusively dedicated to the (re)sale of the brand's vintage pieces.
For his next Haute-Couture collection, Valentino will honor Rome
We sometimes tend to forget it, but before Paris, Rome was long considered one of the nerve centers of style. Cradle of renowned fashion houses such as Valentino and Fendi, it hosted the fashion shows of Italian brands for a long time, before Milan established itself as the dynamic capital of transalpine ready-to-wear and Paris became the place to be in haute couture material. Till today. Continuing its momentum to reinvent the heritage of the Valentino label, Pierpaolo Piccioli announced this week that the next Haute-Couture show of the house will take place in Rome. Scheduled for July 8, the latter will be held between Piazza Mignanelli, which houses the brand's headquarters, and the iconic staircase of the Spanish Steps, which for more than twenty years was the scene of the television show "Donna sotto le stelle”, which each summer presented the best of the collections at the end of the Roman Couture Week. "It's in Rome that everything begins: life, people, our stories and our identities," said the artistic director of the brand to "WWD" about this return to the fold.
