What should be checked when the upper thread of the sewing machine thread breaks?
So in order, we advise you to:
Re-thread your machine, top thread and bobbin thread. Then check that you can pull it without the thread jamming (with the presser foot up).
Change the needle. It can be blunt, twisted, poorly fixed, poorly adapted to the fabrics.
Change the yarn. (Is it suitable for fabrics, for the sewing machine…?)
Check the upper voltage (between 4 and 5). Presser foot up, the thread can be pulled, presser foot down, it blocks.
