This modernist villa built by architect Rudy Ricciotti blends in a wilderness, overlooking the sea as far as the eye can see. To better blend into the landscape, camouflage nets of the French army have taken the place of the traditional curtains of glass apertures. Hung by a system of rings slipping on steel rods, they are both practical, attenuating draughts, and aesthetic, creating a play of shade and light. They are bought by the meter or in panels, and come in three colours: brown-green, beige-kaki, or white. The surplus Doursult in Paris sells them by m2, (10 euros per m2, up to 5 x 5) or in panels (3m x 2.40m, 45 euros each). Near Marseille, the boutique Le Helque Bleu offers ten colours (46 euros per 3 x 2.40 m net) new or used, at very mild prices (between 3 and 5 euros per m2). Tip: on E-Bay, camouflage nets are regularly offered in white or khaki, for example for a new 1.80 x 1.70 cm khaki fillet, we were able to find an immediate purchase at 14 euros.
