Bon, prenons cette nouvelle Mercedes EQB.I make it simple, it's the 100% electric declination of the GLB, a 7 -seater SUV.

Pourtant, à première vue, cet EQB n’inspire pas les nuits endiablées. L’engin est globalement carré, on a certainement dû demander aux designers de faire sobre et fonctionnel. Eh bien ils ont fait mieux que ça : ennuyeux ! J’exagère, mais il y a plus sexy dans le genre. À bord, c’est un peu la même histoire. Il y a la superbe dalle numérique qui fait office bloc compteur, écran tactile, et concentre l’essentiel des commandes.Joli, mais pas facile de s’y retrouver dans les menus, les sous-menus, les sous-sous-menus… Faut s’habituer, tout comme au levier de vitesses, situé à droite du volant, là où se trouve d’ordinaire la commande des essuie-glaces. Une Mercedes, ça s’apprend !
Comme toutes les électriques, l’EQB démarre sur un filet de gaz – euh non, comment dire, d’électrons ? – dans un silence absolu, hormis le petit sifflement habituel. Et puis, tu as envie de voir ce qu’elle a sous le capot, si les 300 CV sont bien là.
Ben, ils y sont ! À la limite, si tu enfonces l’accélérateur en sortie de virage, c’est même limite brutal, va falloir bien attacher les gosses à l’arrière ! Mais c’est plutôt grisant, en prime on peut jouer avec les palettes derrière le volant, qui ne servent pas à passer les vitesses, mais à piloter la force de la régénération au freinage.
