Calculation example: With a 2m long shower curtain rod, which connects to the wall on both sides, the shower curtain should be 230cm wide. If two shower curtains are used, they should be a width total of 260 cm. This can also be done by combining shower curtains of different widths, for example 120 and 140 cm.
If you are measuring for a damp room, make sure your curtain stops 1 or 2 inches above the floor so the shower curtain can dry out to prevent mildew buildup. a bath, measure from the bottom of your existing curtain hook to about 15cm from the top edge of the bath. This is so you can't trip over the curtain and it can dry out. The space above the shower curtain track improves circulation, drying and ultimately the durability of your shower curtain.
