Drywall still looks strong enough but the main thing about this wall is that it won't hold screws and if you mount your curtain rods incorrectly you will face the problem of sagging curtains and that will leave a hole to fix. If you want to mount anything to your drywall, the best way is to drive mounting screws into the frame behind your drywall, but this step isn't always possible, don't worry not because you can also use wall anchors which come in different choices such as plastic, tapered screw sockets. You should know that they are not suitable for a lot of weight but they can support the weight of the curtains.

Steps in this process
First, you need to add the length of your curtains and the space you need between the bottom of your curtains and your floor. Measure this height on your wall using a tape measure. Make a mark using a pencil to mark one end of your curtain rod. Next you need to measure the distance between the mounting brackets on your curtain rod that you are going to install and also make another mark on your drywall at that distance from the first mark. Make sure it is the same height at the above your floor. Now you need to hold one of your mounting brackets against your drywall on the first mark, then you need to mark the positions for your screw holes. Next you need to remove the bracket, then you need to drill a 1 hole /4 inch on each mark of your drywall. After following all the previous steps, you now need to insert a #8 plastic anchor screw into each hole in your drywall. Each of your plastic screws should be protected enough for your hammer to drive flush with it. your drywall. Next, replace your bracket and drive your 1 1/4 inch wood screw through each plastic anchor using your screwdriver. Now mount another bracket to the second location of your drywall in the same way as you did before. When all the brackets are secure you now need to place your curtain rod on them and then adjust the length of the rod to align the ends with the outside of your brackets, and tighten the screws mounted in the drywall brackets using your screwdriver to hold your curtain rod securely. After that, you need to use your tape measure to find the center of your curtain rod if you need the third bracket to prevent sagging. Finally, hang your third bracket on your curtain rod, then place it against your drywall and also mark your screw holes. Install the anchors and screw the bracket to your drywall and you're done. A helpful tip for this process, when you've set your first bracket, it's a good idea to check the position of your second bracket. Place one end of your curtain rod into your bracket, then hold the other end against the partition mark dry while checking the level with a spirit level.
