Trends: What if men also put on nail polish?

He launches his cosmetics brand and wears nail polish. Singer Harry Styles boosts searches for men's manicures by 457%.

At the beginning of November, Harry Styles announced the launch of its cosmetics line. Named Pleasing and aimed at all genders, this range includes lip and eye care as well as nail polish.

With their designer bottles and spherical caps, these polishes quickly became the most popular in the collection. Available in pearly shades, midnight blue, pink and white, they reflect the singer's attraction to this product, which he wears regularly.

According to beauty e-shop, LookFantastic, the release of the first promotional images has generated a lot of interest in men's manicures. The launch of Pleasing led to an increase in searches on the retailer's site: 457% for "men's manicures". An increase of 3,329% was also recorded for the search “easy male nail art”.

Harry Styles isn't the only man to popularize nail polish among men. Singers Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Huddy and Lil Nas X wear them regularly on red carpets, and some even market their own brand. Artists like David Bowie, Keith Richards or Kurt Cobain paved the way a few years ago.
