One of the characters you can play as in the game is called “Helvius Pertinax”

Publius Helvius Pertinax is the son of a freed slave. He was brought to power by the Praetorian Guard at the age of 70. His reign lasted 87 days before the same praetorian guard assassinated him, disappointed by his disciplinary rigor and the low gratuity he paid them.

And this game is no exception for me: there is an island full of cats. FULL OF CATS!
But we have to save them before the evil Lord Vesh arrives.
And as far as anyone knows, cats aren't the easiest animals to deal with when they're It's about moving in watery (and hairy ^^) environments.
If there was an animal swimming competition, I wouldn't bet on a cat.
The goal of the game will therefore be to navigate our boat to the island to rescue them all.

So you'll have to keep them on the bridge while keeping the families together.

Each lore card you collect you provides another way to score points, and 38 unique lore cards are available. Complete these goals, fill your ship and keep the cat families together to score points. The player with the most points after five rounds wins.
It's a very cute game for 1-4 players, lasting less than an hour. And it's won multiple nominations around the world, so it's definitely worth checking it out...and giving it a try!

When drawn from the Pet deck, this evil little bunny cannot be taken, researched, or released. Instead, he immediately attacks the first player, forcing him to discard one of his Expert cards! It is then returned to the draw pile and disappears into the shadows until its next victim shows up...
Okay, we admit it, this card was supposed to be an April Fool's joke! This is a little nod to the Killer Rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the film that inspired the name of our publishing house! However, we liked the idea so much that we developed a full-fledged mechanic for it 🙂 We added it to the Kickstarter campaign as an exclusive promo card.
