The Minister of Health, Faouzi Mehdi, gave a press conference on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, to present the inventory of the COVID-19 epidemic in Tunisia while several governorates are struck by the British variantSars-Cov-2.
He presented, on occasion, the list of people who can prioritize the vaccine, regardless of age.
This list includes:
- people in pre-chemotherapy,
- people grafted or candidates for an organ or bone marrow transplant,
- People with hepatic cirrhosis of stadium 2 and 3
- Hemodialyséesées
- People with Down's syndrome
- People with symptomatic hemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell anemia, major or intermediate thalassemia
- People with chronic obstructive bronchopneumopathy with severe ventilatory involvement
- people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
- People with myasthenia
- People with autism spectrum disorder or psychiatric disorders such as bipolarity or schizophrenia
- people with morbid obesity and / or type 1 diabetes
- people with reduced left ventricular function
- pregnant women over 16 weeks old
Faouzi Mehdi explained that the people corresponding to these categories could download their medical files in the "Prioritization request" section on the Evax platform or ask their attending physician to proceed with the process.The files are then studied on a case -by -case basis by an expert committee which is responsible for validating the request by putting the concerned on the list of priority persons or rejecting it.
