The absorbent paper technique
Don't panic if you just poured candle wax. One of the solutions that works almost every time: the paper towel. Once the wax is dry, remove the larger one with a wooden spatula, then position some paper absorbent on what is left of the wax. Put a hot iron on it. The paper towels will absorb the excess wax. If necessary, repeat the operation. This technique is ideal for white or clear wax.
